After your stay
The doctor will inform you as soon as possible of the day scheduled for your discharge from the hospital.
On the day of your departure, a file will be given to you. This folder contains:
- Your discharge voucher signed by the doctor
- A report of your hospitalization
- A list of medications to take to follow your treatment
- Recommendations to follow for your convalescence period.

In the event of early discharge or against medical advice, a signed liability waiver will be required.
In the event of the release of a minor, it can only be ensured by persons exercising parental authority (father, mother or legal guardian)
What you should do before leaving the inpatient unit
If you run out of a change of clothes, ask your relatives to bring you clean things the day before your discharge.
Plan transportation to your home. In the most serious cases and on request, an ambulance transport can be considered (with supplement).
Make sure you have all the medecines you need for your treatment and you know when to take them.
Ask the healthcare staff to provide you with the medical certificates you need, if applicable.
Don't forget
When you leave the room, make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. Make sure you take all your personal belongings, as well as your toiletries. Empty the fridge if you have placed goods in it. Take only what is yours. Leave the sheets, pillow, and blankets on the bed. Any missing item or damage to the equipment will be charged to your bill.
Last but not least
Before leaving the CMC, make sure that the administrative documents relating to your stay are in order.
