Hospitalization
The CMC’s inpatient
unit was renovated in 2018. We offer a 54 beds capacity in modern and
spacious rooms, equipped with up-to-date comfort.
All CMC staff do their utmost to ensure that your hospitalization happens in the best possible conditions. In order to prepare for your hospital stay, you will find a series of recommendations here. We ask you to read all these recommendations before the day of your hospitalization. This will allow you to better understand your intervention and to familiarize yourself with how the CMC works.
Before your stay
The days prior to your hospitalization, we ask you to comply with the instructions given to you by the medical team.
To prepare for your stay, consult the list of documents to present on arrival hereunder as well as personal effects to take with you, if necessary.
Your stay at the hospital
Upon arrival, the staff will assign you a bed in a room. We offer 3 types of accommodation: dispensary room with 6 beds, clinical room with 4 beds or a VIP room with 2 beds (privatization possible with supplement). If you have an agreement, the type of room depends on your subscription. Private patients can choose the type of room they wish to occupy, based on availability. The stay in the hospital is devoted to the care and rest of the patient. Therefore, visits are regulated and subject to strict schedules. We kindly ask you to respect these hours and to inform your relatives.
After your stay
The date of your discharge from the hospital is determined by the medical team and depends on several parameters. Before leaving, the doctor will tell you the treatment and / or the precautions to take at home. If you have any questions regarding your hospitalization or follow-up, please do not hesitate to ask the doctor. When you leave your room, make sure you haven't forgotten anything and only take what is yours. A period of convalescence should be observed after hospitalization.
